The Methodist church is situated in the historic town of Tewkesbury at the confluence of the rivers Avon and Severn. The current Church was built in 1878 and is situated at the junction of the High Street, Barton Street and Church Street.
In 1999 to 2000 the church underwent a major refurbishment enabling much greater and flexible use of the entire premises.
2003 marked the 125th anniversary of the church on this site.
The church is in the Tewkesbury and Cheltenham Methodist Circuit, part of the Bristol Methodist District.
The church is actively involved with Churches Together in Tewkesbury. There are regular united services with other denominations in the town, especially during the Christian Festivals. Ecumenical study groups meet during Lent.
The church supports a wide range of local, national and international charities and special appeals, including Christian Aid, NCH, the Leprosy Mission, Methodist Homes.
